Position Summary
The Parts Advisor is responsible for managing appliance parts from start to finishâidentifying parts, ordering, receiving, tracking, and supporting technicians with the correct components to complete jobs efficiently. This role also helps manage our e-commerce parts operations, ensuring online orders are processed accurately and on time. The Parts Advisor plays a critical role in keeping technicians moving, reducing downtime, and supporting both in-store and online customers.

Parts Identification & Ordering
Identify correct appliance parts using model and serial numbers
Order parts from distributors and suppliers
Verify pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
Inventory & Receiving
Receive and check in parts deliveries
Label, organize, and store parts accurately
Perform data entry to maintain clean and accurate inventory records
Technician Support
Provide parts to technicians for scheduled jobs
Communicate part status, delays, and alternatives
Handle part-related customer follow-ups when needed
E-Commerce Operations
Process online parts orders from eBay, website, and other platforms
Pick, pack, and ship parts accurately and on time
Manage listings, pricing updates, and stock availability
Handle online customer questions, returns, and issues
Returns, Credits & Core Handling
Process part returns and warranty returns
Track distributor credits and ensure refunds are received
Manage core returns and documentation
Warranty Processing
Submit warranty part claims to manufacturers
Monitor approval status and follow up on pending claims
Ensure maximum recovery on warranty reimbursements
Administrative Support
Maintain organized records of orders, returns, and credits
Assist with part-related billing and documentation
